We were tired of expensive hydration mixes filled with sugar and unnecessary additives. Our search for a simpler solution led us to the salt marshes of France, where mineral-rich sea salt has been harvested by hand for generations.
Inspired by its simplicity and naturally occurring trace minerals, we founded Sante to bring authentic French Celtic salt back to everyday hydration and wellness.
Where it comes from
Born in the marshes of Guérande, France
On France's Atlantic coast lies Guérande, a network of salt marshes worked since the 9th century. Atlantic seawater flows through shallow clay ponds and is slowly evaporated by sun and wind, concentrating the ocean's minerals into pure, unrefined crystals.
How it's made
Hand-harvested, never refined
Skilled paludiers rake every batch by hand using methods passed down for over a thousand years. Nothing is stripped or bleached — our salt keeps its natural grey hue and its full spectrum of trace minerals, exactly as nature intended.
